Monday, Oct. 8
5 a.m. – 1000 block W. 22nd St., a woman said several items were missing from her car.
9:08 a.m. – 2800 block Grove Ave., Alberto Ortiz, 44, Lorain, was picked up on a warrant and taken to CHP Regional Medical Center.
10 a.m. – 1000 block W. 23rd St., a man said two bottles of medication were stolen from his glove compartment.
12:10 p.m. – 3800 block Canton Ave., three windows were broken at a vacant house.
1:30 p.m. – 3000 block Jaeger Road, a 13-year-old girl and a
14-year-old boy were charged with shoplifting at Kohl’s.
6:57 p.m. – 600 block W. 14th St., four women were involved in a fight.
8:30 p.m. – 200 block W. 13th St., a woman reported that her address numbers have been stolen twice, her cat was poisoned, and someone threw eggs at her house.
8:56 p.m. – 100 block E. 32nd St., four juveniles were involved in a fight.

Tuesday, Oct. 9
5:23 a.m. – 300 block W. 29th St., a woman said her ex-boyfriend threatened her life over the custody of their child.
5:24 a.m. – 3700 block Oberlin Ave., Kelly Dull, 45, Lorain, charged with no lighted lights and driving under suspension.

12:30 p.m. – 5000 block Clifton Ave., Sheffield Township, a PlayStation 2, two diamond rings, a garnet ring and a Gucci watch were stolen from a home.

Saturday, Oct. 6
1:10 a.m. – State Route 57, Elyria, Paul Henderson, 53, Brooklyn, Ohio, charged with DUI and red light violation.
11 a.m. – 19700 block Pitts Road, Wellington Township, a man said a $50 bill was stolen from his house.
9:12 p.m – 5200 block Oakwood Blvd., Sheffield Township, a
10-year-old boy was taken to the Lorain County Detention Home after kicking his mother with football cleats and threatening to kill her.

Sunday, Oct. 7
10 a.m. – 13100 block S. Durkee Road, Grafton, a man said someone stole the driver’s side door of his Jeep Sahara.
1:03 p.m. – 43300 block Dellefield Road, Elyria Township, theft of money.
1:23 a.m. – Clearview High School, Sheffield Township, James Lilly, 18, Lorain, charged with drug paraphernalia.
2:55 p.m. – 100 block Westwood Mobile Home Park, Amherst Township, burglary complaint.
6:02 p.m. – 41900 block Edison Court, Elyria Township, stolen bike.
6:15 p.m. – 10000 block Dupont Ave., Columbia Township, domestic dispute.

Tuesday, Oct. 9
2:35 a.m. – 39100 block Davis Drive, Carlisle Township, Angel Rodriguez-Medieta, 18, Carlisle Township, charged with criminal trespassing, criminal damaging, possession of criminal tools and attempted theft.

9 a.m. – 800 block Garden St., several cars were spray-painted with lewd messages.

Monday, Oct. 8
8:44 a.m. – 600 block Middle Ave., the windows of an excavator were smashed.
9:14 a.m. – Elyria School, 300 block Naples Drive, the principal said someone had tried to enter the building using a crowbar.
3 p.m. – 800 block East River St., a rock was thrown through a window.
3:49 p.m. – 1300 block Lowell St., a woman said someone was threatening her at work.
5:43 p.m. – 400 block 15th St., a man said a chainsaw was stolen from his property.
6:15 p.m. – 100 block David Drive, Richard R. Berry, 48, Elyria, charged with domestic violence.
8:25 p.m. – 100 block Lake Ave., Christian D. Dickson, 28, Elyria, charged with criminal simulation, trademark counterfeiting and possessing criminal tools. He was also wanted on a bench warrant.
9 p.m. – 300 block 6th St., two female students said they suspect someone who made a bomb threat at Elyria High School.
11:34 p.m. – 200 block Brace Ave., a 14-year-old girl reported missing.

3:53 a.m. – 200 block Hawthorne St., the front driver’s side window of a car broken.
7:37 a.m. – 400 block Southwood Drive, a woman said someone tried to break into her car and steal the car stereo.
