Win points Browns in right direction heading into bye

CLEVELAND — If the Browns ever figure out a way to stop the opposition, they could be unstoppable. As it is — with a defense ranked near the bottom of the league — the Browns are a stunning 3-3 following a 41-31 win Sunday over the Miami Dolphins (0-6). The Browns, who are off next [...]

Brian Dulik: ‘Chud’ and guts have Browns offense rolling

Every player, coach and employee in the Browns organization refers to offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski by his nickname. Calling him “Chud’’ at this point, however, seems disrespectful. “Gridiron Genius’’ or “Miracle Worker’’ is much more appropriate for a man who has transformed Cleveland’s moribund offense into one of the best in the NFL. “It’s a [...]

Getting cultured, talking politics: Cleveland

Granted, Bostonians can brag about that soiree in which they tossed a bunch of tea into the harbor, an act that helped ignite the political powder keg that would explode in the American Revolution. And yes, the city is also closely linked to the Kennedys, arguably the 20th century’s most famous political family. Although Cleveland [...]
