Friday, Oct. 19
6 a.m. – 100 block Harvard Ave., a computer bag was stolen from a truck, and a prescription bottle belonging to a suspect was found.
7:30 a.m. – Eastgate School, a window was broken in the teachers’ lounge.
8:30 a.m. – 100 block Blaine St., a car stereo faceplate was stolen.
9:43 a.m. – West Avenue, a city vehicle was scratched.
11:05 a.m. – West Avenue, a man gave police shotgun shells to be destroyed.
1 p.m. – 1000 block N. Abbe Road, stolen wallet.
4 p.m. – Midway Mall, theft from auto.
4:30 p.m. – State routes 57 and 254, Gary McLemore, 22, Lorain, bench warrant for assault.
5:17 p.m. – 200 block Parmely Ave., Angela Bodiford, 29, Elyria, bench warrant.
8:21 p.m. – 1000 block Garden St., Bruce Dunlap, 44, Lorain, charged with possession of crack cocaine and tampering with evidence.

Saturday, Oct. 20
12:50 a.m. – 100 block Lincoln St., Edward Leinweber, 40, Elyria, charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
2:44 a.m. – Fourth St. and Middle Avneue, Montina Kimbro, 49, Elyria, warrant arrest.

Friday, Oct. 19
8:30 a.m. – 500 block W. 21st St., a woman said someone had tried to break into her store overnight.
9 a.m. – 400 block Florida St., a school bus driver said a window in her vehicle was shattered while she was driving.
10:45 a.m. – West Fifth Street, a former co-worker shattered a man’s side-view mirror.
3 p.m. – 4700 block Chelsea Ave., a woman said she returned home to find her door frame broken.
4 p.m. – 1700 block E. 31st St., a 14-year-old boy was cited for assaulting a classmate on the way home from Whittier School.
8:19 p.m. – 2700 block Broadway, three boys, ages 14 and 15, were issued juvenile court summons for throwing rocks at a Walgreen’s drive-through window.
8:56 p.m. – 1400 block E. 29th St., Thomas Garcia, 43, Lorain, charged with domestic violence.

Saturday, Oct. 20
1:19 a.m. – 1800 block W. 23rd St., Otis Young, 22, Lorain, charged with weaving, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

County sheriff
Friday, Oct. 19
12:30 a.m. – 45600 block Telegraph Road, Amherst Township, a 13-year-old boy who ran away from home was found.
3 a.m. – Middle Ridge Road and state Route 2, Lorain, K-9 checked a car for narcotics with negative results.
