Vilma Nyarges, 86, of Galion, formerly of Lorain, died Monday, October 22, 2007, at Village Care Nursing Center in Galion, following a long illness.
Ms. Nyarges was born in Lorain, on May 14, 1921. She lived the majority of her life in the Lorain-Elyria area. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Avon Lake.
She worked as an assembler at Bendix-Westinghouse in Elyria. She enjoyed studying the Bible. She also spent time in the worldwide Bible education work.
Ms. Nyarges is survived by a son, Robert Pruchinski of Lorain; sister, Ida Rodgers of Centerburg; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Rose (Toth) Nyarges; sisters, Grace Bauer, Caroline Herner, Rose Leimbach, and Anna Tomasec; brothers, Gilbert Nyarges, Art Nyarges, and Julius Nyarges.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 388 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, with Elder David Leech officiating.
