Stabbing victim gets help at U.S. Steel

LORAIN – Security guards at U.S. Steel called the police at 1:20 a.m. Saturday when a bleeding man approached their post, according to a Lorain police report.

Robert Rayshawn Williams, 28, of Lorain, had several cuts and left a trail of blood around the guard house, the report said. He told police that he fought off a male attacker at Papo`s Bar on E. 28th Street but had still been stabbed.

Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect, the report said.

Teen attacked while walking home
LORAIN – Four older men – one wielding a gun – in a blue car beat a pedestrian and stole his shoes at 11:40 p.m. Friday, according to a Lorain police report.

A 17-year-old boy told police he was walking home from a friend`s house when the men came out of the car and demanded money, the report said. One pointed the gun at his head, then struck him on the head with the weapon, the report said.
