Playboy triplet gets community service

ELYRIA — In August, Vicki Satterfield and her two sisters graced the pages of Playboy magazine in a six-page pictorial called “Small-Town Triplets.”

Soon, Vicki Satterfield will be featured in 30 hours of community service at a nonprofit agency if she wants to avoid serving three days in jail.

Satterfield, 23, pleaded no contest Friday to a misdemeanor assault charge in connection with allegations she took a swing at an Elyria police officer on Oct. 18 near Club 57, the former Diamond Men’s Club.

Elyria Municipal Court Judge Lisa Locke Graves also ordered Satterfield to get an alcohol assessment in order to avoid jail time.

Satterfield, a former dancer at the club, also was fined $250 and was ordered to pay $188 in court costs. If the $438 is not paid by Jan. 4, a warrant might be issued for her arrest or her driver’s license could be forfeited, according to court documents.

In all, a 60-day jail term is hanging over Satterfield’s head if she does not obey all laws for the next two years, according to court documents.

A police report from the incident in October said an employee from Club 57 flagged down a police officer, saying another employee was causing a disturbance and would not leave the business.

While the officer was inside, Satterfield and one of her sisters began arguing with club staff over what they had been paid, the report said.

The officer told them it was a civil matter and the sisters would have to leave, but Vicki Satterfield refused and swung at the officer with her left fist when he attempted to escort her out, according to the report.

Satterfield initially was charged with fourth-degree felony assault because the incident involved a police officer, but the charge was dropped to a first-degree misdemeanor, according to court documents. Another charge of disorderly conduct/ intoxication was dropped by prosecutors.
