Teenager pleads guilty to bomb threat at Admiral King

ELYRIA — A 19-year-old man who called in a bomb threat to Lorain Admiral King High School in March pleaded guilty last week to making false alarms and inducing panic, charges that could send him to prison for five years.

Christopher Griffith, who was 18 at the time of the bomb threat, called in the threat on a disposable cell phone that police eventually traced back to him. Griffith also had been bragging about his involvement in making the threat that cleared the school.

No bomb was ever found.
