2:26 p.m. –  100 block of Willard Memorial Square, woman tells police about harassing phone calls and text messages.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

7:21 p.m. – 600 block of N. Main St., police file report on two students from Keystone High School allegedly fighting in the Wellington High School parking lot.

Thursday, Dec. 13

6:31 p.m. – 200 block of E. Herrick Ave., man attempted to leave grocery store with tequila worth $56.30 and gin worth $29.10 and returned the bottles to the manager.

Sunday, Dec. 16

3:28 p.m. – 400 block of W. Herrick Ave., woman reported $50 stolen from inside her apartment.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

8:51 p.m. –  100 block of E. College St., death of 67-year-old man in his home ruled natural causes.

11:28 a.m. – 100 block of Kendal Drive, fraud investigation involving $18,000 investment.

12:23 a.m. – single digits of Union St., purse and camera stolen when window smashed in car.

Thursday, Dec. 13

12:40 p.m. –  double digits of W. College St., LaMont Seymore, 55, of Oberlin, charged with trespassing at the Conservatory of Music and violating terms of his Municipal Court probation.

Friday, Dec. 14

1:08 a.m. –  state Route 58 and U.S. 20, Jimmy Rouse, 31, of Wooster, arrested on a warrant from the Ashland County Sheriff`s Department.

2:25 a.m. – state Route 58 and E. Hamilton St., Richard M. Jackson, 39, of Oberlin, charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving left of center; a passenger, Jason Alston, 37, of Lorain, charged with persisting in disorderly conduct/intoxication and obstructing official business.

1:50 p.m. – 200 block of E. Lorain St., theft of cable.

1:49 p.m. – 100 block of W. College St., purse taken from Oberlin College dormitory and debit cards used.
