LORAIN — A 16-year-old boy who ran away from home was charged with a curfew violation and unruliness — all after he was found wounded from an assault.
The boy was found at 1:29 a.m. Saturday at East 31st Street and Pearl Avenue, bleeding from his nose and forehead, according to a Lorain police report.
He told police that two black men —one in a black ski mask — jumped him, knocked him to the ground, kicked him and rifled through his empty pockets. Then they ran away.
The boy said he ran away from home earlier in the day. Police returned him to his mother, who drove him to the hospital.
