6:11 p.m. – 1600 block of E. 30th St., 15-year-old boy taken to the Lorain County Detention Home after reports he threatened a police officer; charges include intimidation, obstruction of official business and underage consumption.
7:30 p.m. – 400 block of W. 13th St., youth reportedly threatened a resident after grabbing a dog, getting on a bike and riding off.
Monday, Dec. 31
1:30 a.m. – Maple Drive and Wilson Street, report that dark minivan slammed into a red sub-compact car before driving off.
2:30 a.m. – 2100 block of Lorain Drive, woman tells police an acquaintance slapped, punched and burned her with cigarettes; a temporary restraining order is issued for an Elyria man.
1:59 p.m. – 1800 block of W. 19th St., police investigate complaint that mink and alligator coats worth $27,000 are being ransomed for $2,500; coats returned after reportedly found in Elyria in a car owned by a relative.
4:26 p.m. – 1800 block of Elyria Ave., electricity goes out, theft of 100 feet of copper wire is found to be the cause.

5:13 p.m. – 800 block of Rosewood Ave., Myisha Shalana Montgomery, 25, charged with domestic violence.

12:45 a.m. – Oberlin Avenue, Bobby L. Hill, 23, of Elyria, arrested on a warrant.
3:25 a.m. – 500 block Broad St., two women fight outside Toybox bar.
