Jean E. Draiss (nee Zedaker), 90, of North Eaton and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning, January 5, 2008 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon of natural causes. She was born October 19, 1917 in Youngstown and graduated from West Tech in Cleveland, Class of 1935. She has resided in North Eaton since 1955. Jean retired in 1984 as a sales clerk for Clarkins Department Store in Elyria with 10 years of service. Over the years, she had attended North Eaton Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling for the Senior Bowling League at Center Ridge Lanes.

She is survived by her children, Doreen Graf (husband, Charles) of Clearwater, Florida; Leon Draiss, Jr. (wife, Barbara) of Elyria and Sandra Nielsen (husband, Roy) of Elyria; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; a brother Burton Zedaker of Wakeman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Draiss, Sr. in 1999; brothers, Edwin, James and Robert Zedaker and her parents, James and Loretta Zedaker (nee Deckant).

Funeral services will be held at the Busch Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 8 at 11 A.M. Pastor Todd Nye will officiate. Burial will be at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland.
