The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Elizabeth L. Miller, 86, of Wooster, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Born October 5, 1921, in Kingston, she was the daughter of Fred and Margaret Greene Lott.
She had sold Avon products for many years, played the organ and sang in church choirs. She was an avid bridge player and O.S.U. fan. She enjoyed knitting and ceramics.
Surviving are children and spouses, James and Anita Miller of Wooster, Mark and Carol Miller of DeFiance, Mo., Brenda Miller of Columbus, Keith and Sandy Miller of Villa Park, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Muensterman of Pleasant Hill, Tenn., and Nancy Henry of Tilda, India.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Miller in 2006, whom she married June 21, 1946; and sons, Richard R. Jr. and Gary.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church, Wooster, with the Rev. Robin Ray officiating.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family with arrangements.
