| A dejected Ohio State quarterback Todd Boeckman wipes his face during the Buckeyes’ 38-24 loss to LSU in the championship game Monday at the louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. |
On Monday night, another SEC opponent in the BCS Championship Game led to another loss for Ohio State, which dropped its second consecutive national title bid — this time in a 38-24 defeat at the hands of Elyria’s own Les Miles and the LSU Tigers in the Louisiana Superdome.
Miles got his first national title at the expense of the Buckeyes, who after a fast start, fizzled out in the end, just as they did in the loss to Florida last year.
So, it’s back to the drawing board for Ohio State, which figures to endure another year of criticismfrom across the country — especially from SEC supporters.
Maybe it’s warranted.
