1:11 p.m. – 2100 block W. 24th St., a woman said her friend slammed her against a wall and choked her.
2:05 p.m. – Kerr Beverage, West Erie Avenue, two men stole 13 cases of beer, valued at $228.
4:14 p.m. – 500 block W. 23rd St., missing 17-year-old girl.
4:32 p.m. – 3900 block Reid Ave., a woman said she was harassed by her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend, who has made a MySpace.com hate site about her.
4:46 p.m. – Sunoco, Oberlin Avenue, a man drove away without paying for gas.
5:17 p.m. – 1600 block Long Ave., Wilfredo G. Rodriguez, 29, Lorain, charged with assault and menacing.
9:10 p.m. – 5300 block W. Erie Ave., Christopher Roy, 23, North Ridgeville, charged with improper backing, leaving the scene of a crash and DUI.
11:28 p.m. – 1600 block E. 31st St., a man said he was punched by his nephew.
11:50 p.m. – 3000 block Denver Ave., two silver necklaces stolen.

2:30 p.m. – Alice’s Hair, Lake Avenue, thieves used railroad spikes to break into the salon.
3:15 p.m. – 200 block Brunswick Drive, a man said he was menaced by neighbors.
5:06 p.m. – 200 block Gates Ave., Lisa Clifton, 29, Elyria, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
7:20 p.m. – Macy’s, Midway Mall, Charles D. Lewis, 33, Elyria, charged with theft.

2 a.m. – 1300 block East Ave., a woman said she is being stalked by a friend of her boyfriend.
6 p.m. – 300 block 10th St., video games stolen.
6:14 p.m. – 1500 block Park Ave., a woman said her husband punched her in the mouth after an argument about a piggy bank containing $88 in change.
6:38 p.m. – 100 block Fox Hill Lane, a woman said a man punched her in the stomach after an argument about a check being cashed.
8:11 a.m. – Big Shot Bungee, Midway Mall, $160 stolen from a security cabinet.
9 p.m. – 100 block Tedman Court, Brian Czuba Jr., 30, Elyria, warrant arrest.
11:45 a.m. – 200 block Seventh St., air compressor stolen from van.
9:33 a.m. – 200 block 16th St., window shot by BB gun.
11:59 p.m. – Police station, West Avenue, Javis I. Wiley, 30, Akron, bench warrant arrest.

Friday, Jan. 11
6:10 a.m. – 1200 block East River Road, a disoriented man was found walking in the road with a blanket over his head.
3 a.m. – 1800 block Middle Ave., breaking and entering.
