Girls basketball roundup: Clearview downs Buckeye for share of Patriot Athletic Conference Stripes Division title
SHEFFIELD TWP. — Ariel Calhoun and Alex Wright scored 16 points apiece to lead Clearview (11-8, 9-4) to a 57-44 win over Buckeye and to a share of the Patriot Athletic Conference Stripes Division championship with Oberlin. Calhoun also passed 1,000 points for her career.

NORTH OLMSTED — North Olmsted’s Kori Wiedt was fouled driving for the basket with two seconds left to play and calmly made both free throws to give the win in Southwestern Conference action.
With their win, the Eagles are 9-3 vs. SWC foes and remain tied with Olmsted Falls for first place in the SWC standings.
Wiedt finished with a game-high 25 points, while Susie Tomko added 13 for North Olmsted (15-3 overall).
