8:21 p.m. – 36600 block Bauerdale Court, a woman said her husband was slapping their 15-year-old daughter.

Wednesday, Jan. 30
9:14 a.m. – 36600 block Detroit Road, a custodian said a white van followed her from work the night before and there were pry marks on the building’s door the next morning.
12:42 p.m. – 4500 block Northfield Circle, a vehicle was shot with BB pellets.
6:27 p.m. – 3200 block Whispering Point, a woman said someone tried to pry open her vehicle.
8:22 p.m. – Best Buy, Center Road, a male shoplifter ran out the back of the store.

10:08 a.m. – 1600 block Cypress West, a woman reported that a man walked into an apartment carrying a 9mm handgun. Police discovered it was a toy gun.
12:20 p.m. – Kohl’s, Detroit Road, police chased a woman who allegedly shoplifted from Kohl’s.
6:43 p.m. – Pilot, Colorado Ave., two men fought over a racial issue.

4:07 p.m. – 1300 block Nagel Road, stolen auto parts.

11:45 a.m. – Avon High School, Detroit Road, principal said she had a student with a suspicious pill in her office.
4:59 p.m. – Nagel Road, police assisted North Ridgeville officers in locating a woman writing fraudulent prescriptions.
