Sunday, Feb. 3
2:46 p.m. – 1800 block Middle Ave., an apartment was broken into.
11:53 p.m. – 200 block Park Meadow Drive, a vehicle was broken into and a radio and CD player were stolen.
Monday, Feb. 4
10:01 a.m. – 100 block Kentucky Drive, a 15-year-old girl was cited with obstructing official business. She wouldn’t tell police her name, birthday or Social Security number when they found her in a sleeping bag in a front yard.
1:39 p.m. – 1800 block Turner Blvd., a woman said someone wrote two fraudulent checks worth $184 from her account.
2 p.m. – 900 block Gulf Road, a woman said her ex-boyfriend took her 2007 Dodge Ram.
3:20 p.m. – 1500 block Lake Ave., a 9-year-old Cleveland boy was cited for assault after allegedly attacking a principal.
3:50 p.m. – Cleveland Street and state Route 57, a 12-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy were cited with unruly child and disorderly conduct after a fight on a First Student school bus.
5:14 p.m. – Bohannon Court and Pratt Boulevard, Charles Garten, 46, Elyria, theft warrant.
6:51 p.m. – 300 block Washington Ave., Neal Lanning, 29, Elyria, charged with drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
9:20 p.m. – Leo Bullocks Parkway and South Gateway Boulevard, Andrew R. Bogle, 19, Elyria, bench warrant.
10:18 p.m. – 500 block 2nd St., Sanford Whitford, 42, Elyria, contempt of court warrant.
Tuesday, Feb. 5
1:15 a.m. – Interstate 90 and state Route 57, Jason M. Jacobs, 23, Elyria, contempt of court warrant.
1:30 a.m. – Broad Street and West Avenue, police cornered a 44-year-old man who was waving an ax and asking how to get a permit to walk around downtown Elyria with the ax. An Elyria police report said the man was mentally unstable and the ax was seized.
2:24 a.m. – 1800 block Middle Ave., a woman said a teenage girl wearing a brown scarf around her head forced her way into her apartment and assaulted her.

Saturday, Feb. 2
8:32 p.m. – 2300 block Kelly Place, a
19-year-old man was robbed of his wallet by two masked men.
Sunday, Feb. 3
9:29 p.m. – 2200 block E. 28th St., a rifle was stolen out of a vehicle.
10:20 p.m. – 2500 block W. Erie Ave., a man was jumped by four unknown men.
10:36 p.m. – Oberlin Avenue, William Babich, 51, 1200 block W. 35th St., Lorain, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control.
11:21 p.m. – 400 block Broadway, Rex Decost, 28, 2400 block Livingston Ave., Lorain, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
