LORAIN —The city’s chief building inspector was placed on paid administrative leave Friday, pending the outcome of an investigation within Lorain’s building department.
William Desvari was notified Friday of the investigation, according to Lorain Mayor Tony Krasienko.
Krasienko said he would not discuss why Desvari was being investigated because it is an active investigation. He said the city is working closely with Lorain police who are handling the investigation.
