The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Sandra M. "Sandy" Konsesky (nee Avins), 63, of Columbia Station, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, February 27, 2008 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria. She was born June 23, 1944 in Berea.
Sandy was employed as a dietary aide at Villa Camillus Nursing Home in Columbia Station with 14 years of service (1994 to 2008).
She was a charter member of the Harvest Fellowship Church of the Nazarene (formerly Midview Church of the Nazarene) in Grafton.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Konsesky at home and Diane Konsesky of LaGrange; granddaughter, Olivia Konsesky; and a brother, Kenny Avins of Seville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Konsesky (1980); and her parents, Earl and Bernice Avins (nee Goodall).
Friends may call from 6 to 9 P.M., Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Rev. Max Wood, Pastor of Harvest Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, will officiate. Burial will be at Columbia Township Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.buschfuneral.com.
