WEATHER UPDATE — Winter storm watch starts tonight
Enjoy the spring-like weather today because it won’t last.
A winter storm watch goes into effect tonight with rain this afternoon expected to change to freezing rain after midnight, according to the National Weather Service. Snow and sleet also are possible.
The watch will remain in effect through Wednesday morning
There may be a break in winter precipitation Tuesday morning, but occasional freezing rain will likely continue into Tuesday night.
The exact track of the storm system was still uncertain this morning and will determine temperatures and the amount of precipitation, according to the forecasters.
