The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

The Rev. Paul Oberhaus, 66, pastor of Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church, North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly Friday at St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by David Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.

At times like this,it is difficult to find the right words to say. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept my sympathy for the terrible loss of your father.

We are very saddened and shocked at the tragic loss of a great source of guidance, support and teacher. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Oberhaus family and our Christian family at Shepherd of the Ridge.
