Thursday, March 20
2:15 a.m. – Police station, West Avenue, a man said he was hit over the head with a beer bottle Tuesday at Red Fox Lounge on Broad Street.
9:19 a.m. – Middle Avenue and Oberlin Road, a man said he was robbed by other men while walking.
7 p.m. – JCPenney, Midway Mall, Bernice A. Williams, 22, Lorain, charged with robbery. A 16-year-old girl was charged with theft. A store security officer told police that when he confronted the pair about shoplifting, Williams tried to fight him.
Friday, March 21
6:15 a.m. – 100 block Blake St., a woman said her car windows were shot out overnight.
6:30 a.m. – 700 block Lowell St., two tanks of propane stolen from a locked storage area.
2:20 p.m. – 100 block Brunswick Drive, a man said he was assaulted by the father of a boy who was beating a stick against a neighbor’s apartment door.
4 p.m. – 100 block Raleigh Drive, 30 video games stolen.
Saturday, March 22
2:56 a.m. – 300 block Washington Ave., Eric Standifer, 29, Elyria, charged with domestic violence.
Lorain police
Thursday, March 20
10 p.m. – 5100 block W. Erie Ave., Gerard W. Palmer, 40, Sheffield Lake, charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was found lying in the street and a police car almost hit him.
Friday, March 21
8:58 a.m. – 1000 block W. 11th St., a man said someone sliced the side of his pool four times, causing $4,500 worth of damage.
12:31 p.m. – 700 block E. 35th St., copper stolen from basement.
12:45 p.m. – 1500 block W. 37th St., a man said someone threw toilet paper, eggs and tomatoes on his car.
3 p.m. – 2100 block W. 23rd St., a woman said her the father of her children, who stole money from her and moved to Philadelphia, called her to say he had people watching her and that he was coming to kill her.
3:15 a.m. – W. 18th St., Randell L. Taylor Jr., 20, Lorain, charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
3:43 p.m. – 1500 block E. 30th St., smashed car windows.
5:45 p.m. – 1000 block W. Second St., van window shattered.
8:54 p.m. – 5000 block W. Erie Ave., Berardino J. Bonaminio, 22, Lorain, charged with domestic violence. The mother of his children said Bonaminio pointed a gun at her and yelled that he would kill her.
9:48 p.m. – 2400 block E. 37th St., $450 and OxyContin stolen.
Saturday, March 22
1:09 a.m. – 1100 block Highland Park Blvd., burglary.
2:43 a.m. – 2900 block W. Erie Ave., a man punched a window and broke it.
3 a.m. – 2500 block W. Erie Ave., a car was set afire in the parking lot of El Castillo Grande Restaurant. Fast-falling snow covered two sets of tracks leading away from the car, police said.
