The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Mr. Johns was a retired engineer. He was also a member of the Presbyterian Church. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Johns enjoyed spending time on his computer, and was an
