30th Anniversary

Melanie and Randy Birchfield

Congratulations to Melanie and Randy Birchfield who will celebrate their 30th Wedding Anniversary.

They were married June 15, 1978 at Sacred Heart Church in Oberlin, Father Robert Bonnell performed the ceremony.

Melanie works for Windstream Communications and Randy is retired from Ford Motor Co.

The couple are members of Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Church in South Amherst. Melanie plays clarinet in  the Vermilion Community Band and Randy collects and shows his classic cars. They enjoy boating, waterskiing, scuba diving, windsurfing, four wheel and motorcycle riding, camping and traveling.

They have lived in Wakeman since 1986 and have one child, Bradley and daughter-in-law, Julie.

In observance of their anniversary celebration, the couple plan a two week tour of the Hawaiian Islands.
