CLEVELAND — Authorities near Cleveland have arrested a man they say e-mailed an Indiana teenager about conducting a Columbine-style attack on two schools.

Lakewood Police Chief Tim Malley says 33-year-old Lee Billi was charged Thursday with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder. A 16-year-old Indiana boy was arrested earlier this week.

Malley says he doesn’t know how far along the two were in their alleged plans. Malley says they were talking about a Columbine-type plot.

Billi is being held in jail and is expected to be arraigned by Saturday.

A computer was removed from Billi’s home in Lakewood in a search Thursday.

Authorities say the two exchanged e-mails Sunday in which they discussed mass murders at the same time at the teen’s school near South Bend and at another location.

Malley says he doesn’t know what the other location was.
