Saturday, April 26

4:25 p.m. — 1234 Orchard Glen Drive. Resident reports a GPS unit valued at $500 taken from his van, which may have been unlocked.

Wednesday, April 23

 1:02 a.m. — Clechie Craighead charged with driving under suspension and license plate light violation following a traffic stop at North Ridge and North Dewey Roads. 

Tuesday, April 22

1:27 p.m. — 2201 Kresge Drive. Police called to Giant Eagle store on report of a man leaving store with stolen items. A short time later, police find and stop suspect’s vehicle. Josh Ison, a passenger identified by store security personnel,  is charged with theft.

Sunday, April 20

10:45 a.m. — 1903 Cooper Foster Park Road. Police arrest a teenaged male causing disturbance at a Subway restaurant. Juvenile is charged with disorderly conduct persisting, underage consumption and menacing after he threatened a worker. 

Vermilion police

Sunday, April 20

2:55 p.m. — 4523 Liberty Ave. Gary Disbrow, owner of Total Boat Management, reported vandalism and theft involving several boats stored there. Police said a sailboat cover was slashed with a sharp object, while 300 feet of rope, a 30-foot fiberglass extension ladder, and power tools valued at about $1,000 were missing.   

Tuesday, April 15

10:03 p.m. — Gerald Boger charged with public intoxication after police found him lying along railroad tracks near Overlook. Reports said man appeared to give impression he had been hit by a train.

8:12 p.m. — Police located two males walking on railroad tracks in vicinity of Giant Eagle store behind Bridgeport Drive. The men were carrying a baby stroller, and tried to hide when they saw police. Daniel K. Lowder, 32, and Joshua B. Vandusen, 24, each were charged with criminal trespassing on railroad property. Police said the two men were accompanied by a 4-year-old boy, and 1-year-old female in a stroller. The children were those of a female employee at Giant Eagle.
