Jean and Joseph Williams
Congratulations to Joe and Jean Williams of North Ridgeville who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married May 10, 1958 in Fields United Methodist Church where they have remained dedicated members.
Joe was born and raised in Wytheville, Virginia, He then served two years in the U.S. Army. His career consisted of many years with Gibbs Meat Packing Co. and The Martin J. Tobin Co. He retired from Willoway Nursery September 29, 2000.
Jean’s working career began in 1954 in the office of Ridge Tool Company and spanned over a period until she retired July 31, 2003. A leave was taken while living in San Antonio, Texas during Joe’s military service. Another leave came later during which she was a supervisor at Wagner’s Country Inn.
Joe and Jean have one son and daughter-in-law, David Joseph and Rene Voelzow-Williams. They enjoy their granddaughters, Emily Jean and Jacklyn Mariah Williams of Elyria.
Pleasure in their retired years comes from enjoying their home, family and especially Joe’s summer garden and Jean’s good cooking.
