Paul E. Bakata, 64, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville, following a long illness. Mr. Bakata was born in Cleveland on April 24, 1944, and had been a North Ridgeville resident for 40 years.

He was a graduate of the Max S. Hayes Vocational School in Cleveland. Mr. Bakata was employed for many years as a Mold Operator at Robin Industries in Cleveland. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and was a former member of the Moose Club in Elyria. He enjoyed going to movies and bowling.

Mr. Bakata is survived by one sister, Mary Rivers of Gates Mills; three brothers, Daniel Bakata of Elyria, John Bakata of North Ridgeville and Joe Bakata of Strongsville; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Evelyn (nee Pipas) Bakata; brothers, Erwin, Stanley and Chester Bakata.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral

Services will be at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen Kaminski, pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
