Esther A. Moorhead (nee Raccio), 86, of Lorain, died Saturday May 17, 2008 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 29, 1921.

Esther was a graduate of Lorain High School and worked as a bookkeeper prior to her marriage. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain and enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables.

She is survived by her son, Russell Moorhead of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Moorhead in 1996.

There will be no visitation.  Funeral services will be held in the mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, 555 N. Ridge Rd., Lorain on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 10 A.M.  The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain, will officiate.
