ALERT: Ohio BMV experiencing outage
If you are in need of a new driver’s license or plates, today is NOT the day to go get them.
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles sent out notice that its computers are experiencing a statewide outage that will impact its ability to issue vehicle registrations and driver’s licenses at all 217 deputy register agencies for the remainder of the day. (Wednesday).
The outage began at 10:45 a.m. when a hardware issue arose in a state mainframe computer.
