Robert and Linda Feierabend
Congratulations to Robert and Linda (van Cise) Feierabend who recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary!
The couple married June 14, 1958 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Blue performing the ceremony.
Robert is a retired plant manager. He was a member of the Hot Stove Baseball Executive Committee, a member and past head umpire of Ohio Hot Stove, and was past Masonic Lodge Master (1965). He received the Cy Butler Hot Stove award. He was inducted into Elyria area Umpire Association Hall of Fame, Ohio Hot Stove Hall of Fame, and Elyria area Bowling Association. Diamond #1 at Palmer’s Field is dedicated to the Feierabend family.
Linda is a housewife and a member of the Eastern Stars. She enjoys bowling, puzzles, crafts, and yard work. She adores her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert and Linda have lived in North Ridgeville since August of 1962. They are the parents of Don (Judy) and Dan (Kelley) of North Ridgeville, and Deanne (Dean) Finkel of Wellington.
Their children hosted an anniversary party at their daughter’s home. Friends and family helped celebrate and traveled from as far as Virginia, Texas, and North Carolina.
