Ohio man’s body thought to be one found in Tenn. lake

  KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities in Tennessee say they believe a body recovered from Norris Lake is a suburban Cincinnati man who disappeared while boating in May.

    Friends say they were drinking with 26-year-old Peter Gruber of Glendale over Memorial Day weekend when he jumped from a moving boat that was traveling about 35 miles an hour.

Authorities say a boater spotted the body Monday night in the water not far from where Gruber had jumped into the lake.

Campbell County, Tenn., Sheriff Gary Perkins says an autopsy will be performed Tuesday.
