Gee’s injured daughter brought to Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State University President Gordon Gee says his daughter has been brought to Columbus to continue her recovery from a scooter accident in the Philadelphia area.

Her husband remains in a coma at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Gee says separating the couple was “awful,” but he says doctors decided 32-year-old Rebekah Gee would do best in rehabilitation at Ohio State University Medical Center. She arrived on Monday.

Gordon Gee says his daughter is receiving constant updates on her husband, 31-year-old Allan Moore. The OSU president says his son-in-law, who suffered abdominal and head injuries, is now battling pneumonia.

Moore and his wife were on a Vespa scooter that collided with a sport utility vehicle July 12.
