Stabbing victim in good condition

ELYRIA —The 25-year-old Elyria man stabbed Thursday night is in good condition at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.

Ricky Lowe Jr. was stabbed once in the stomach during a fight around 9:30 p.m. with his Clinton Avenue neighbor, 53-year-old Scott Hall.

Witnesses told police that Hall went to Lowe’s residence at 172 Clinton Ave., and was subsequently told to leave. Hall left, but returned about a half-hour later to argue with Lowe before stabbing him.

Hall also suffered a minor stab wound to his chest and was treated and released at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria for his injuries. He was later charged with felonious assault and remained Friday in the Elyria City Jail.
