Police: Woman killed boyfriend, left corpse in tub

TRENTON, Ohio (AP) — Police say an Ohio woman called a 911 operator to report she had killed her boyfriend and left his body in their bathtub — about a week earlier.

Authorities believe the woman remained in the house while the corpse decomposed. They say she told them she had tried to kill herself.

After 42-year-old Joanna Hull called Wednesday, police found the body of 47-year-old Keith Peyton in his home in Trenton, about 25 miles north of Cincinnati.

Hull pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of aggravated murder, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse.

A Butler County coroner’s investigator says Peyton died of blunt force head trauma. Preliminary estimates are Peyton had been dead two to 10 days.
