VERMILION — After a tough opening-game loss, Vermilion’s girls rebounded for a 23-25,
25-10, 25-18, 25-22 victory over North Ridgeville on Tuesday night in West Shore Conference action.
Alyssa Rodriguez had 12 service points (three aces), while Katie Karres had 11 kills and Katie Swinehart had 15 digs for the Sailors (3-7, 1-4 WSC), who won their third straight match.
Cory Rechner had 12 service points (three aces) and 15 assists for the Rangers.
