U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton is coming back to Lorain County, but instead of a Lorain school gymnasium, she’ll be speaking at Lorain County Community College.

Clinton, who lost a tight battle for the Democratic presidential nomination, will be campaigning for her former rival, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama.

Clinton is set to speak at about 1 p.m. Sunday at the college. The doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

Although tickets are not required, the Obama campaign is urging people to RSVP online at http://oh.barackobama.com/lorainchange

Marcia Ballinger, the college’s vice president of strategic and institutional development, said the College Center, where the event will be held, has room for about 1,000 people.

For security reasons, the Obama campaign is asking attendees not to bring bags and limit personal items. Signs and banners will also not be allowed at the event, according to a campaign news release.
