The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Donna Yvonne Dute, 84, of Auburn, passed away Monday, September, 15, 2008 at Oak Park in Auburn, Alabama. Mrs. Dute was born September 13, 1924 in Amherst to the late John and Sophia Fazey.
She was a life long member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in South Amherst. Mrs. Dute was fond of crossword puzzles and participated in church activities.
She is survived by her son, Roland Dute.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dute.
Family will receive friends at graveside services Friday, September 19, 2008 at 11 A.M. in the Evergreen Cemetery, Amherst with Rev. Paul Eaton officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made either to Oak Park, 1365 Gatewood Drive, Auburn, AL 36830 or to St. John’s United Church of Christ, 416 Leonard St., South Amherst, OH 44001. Fredericks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.fredericksfh.com
