Sheffield Family Pride Day
Sheffield will host its first Family Pride Day 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at the French Creek Nature Center, 4530 Colorado Ave, Sheffield. The event will be centered on Sheffield and its citizens.

Families are welcome to enjoy nature activities, children’s games and music, as well as hike on the trails of the French Creek Reservation and explore the Nature Center.

A pig roast and other good food will be provided by Gerent Doane Construction and will be available free of charge.
There will be something for everyone to enjoy on this fun filled day.

“Sheffield Village is rich with many opportunities and we are proud to display why it’s such a great village,” said Mayor John Hunter. “This will be a fun day for families and friends in Sheffield Village. We look forward to seeing everyone.”

Black River Landing Farmers’ Market
The Black River Landing Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. All products sold at the market are grown, raised or processed in Ohio.The market is at 421 Black River Lane, one block east of Broadway, inside the brick Transportation Center.

Products include fresh produce, baked goods, homemade dog treats, honey, jams and jellies, candies, jewelry and much more.
