Thursday, Sept. 25
5:30 a.m. – 400 block 11th St., backpack with $200 in contents stolen from unlocked car.
4:45 p.m. – Bob Evans, Griswold Road, a man in a gray pickup stole a bench from the restaurant.
7:13 p.m. – 1100 block Melvyn Lane, coffee table, stereo and two televisions stolen.
8:39 p.m. – 1000 block Broad St., Jesse C. Carpenter, 27, Grafton, warrant.
9:10 p.m. – 300 block Broad St., Eric W. Quinn, 30, Elyria, charged with possession of criminal tools, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
9:41 p.m. – Convenient Food Mart, West Ridge Road, shoplifting.

Friday, Sept. 26
2:16 p.m. – Ely’s Inn, East Avenue, Nena M. Johnson, 34, Elyria, charged with domestic violence.

County sheriff
Saturday, Sept. 20
2:32 a.m. – Old Timbers Bar, Telegraph Road, Amherst Township, several people were involved in a fight. All of the people involved were highly intoxicated, a report said. Two people were taken to Amherst Hospital.

Thursday, Sept. 25
8:33 p.m. – 11800 block Root Road, Columbia Township, Kevin M. Diamond, 27, Columbia Township, charged with domestic violence.
2:07 a.m. – Harvest Ridge Church, Lorain Road, North Ridgeville, Jimmy D. Moore, 41, Elyria, charged with attempted breaking and entering, criminal mischief and driving under suspension. Moore denied trying to gain entry, but North Ridgeville police said he had already removed a window screen and tampered with a floodlight. Sheriff’s deputies noted that Moore had previously been connected to several church break-ins around the county.
