Lois and Jay Goldsmith

Lois and Jay Goldsmith celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on September 20, 2008. The former Lois Tanner and Jay Goldsmith were married at Litchfield Baptist Church.

Lois was employed at Inservco. She is a homemaker, who enjoys gardening, cross-stitch, and is quite talented at crocheting.

Jay is retired from General Motors. He enjoys golfing and fishing.

Both enjoy spending time with their children, and especially their grandchildren, who are as follows: children, Vicky (Skip) Holmes and Connie (Steve) Weichman, all of Lexington, Jay (Shelley) Goldsmith of LaGrange, and Jaymes Goldsmith (Erin Albritton) of Palm Harbor, Florida; grandchildren, Sarah Weichman, Aimee Allen, Jonathan Allen, Daniel Goldsmith, Emily Weichman, Cole Goldsmith, Justice Holmes and Tanner Holmes.

To celebrate their special day, a surprise party attended by 150 guests was held in their honor.
