Marjorie and Walter Keith
Marjorie and Walter Keith celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary September 25, 2008! They were married in 1948 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elyria by Dr. Urich.
Marjorie retired from Elyria City Schools. She taught first and second grades at McKinley School for 28 years. She enjoys gardening, bird watching and spending time with her grandkids and family. Walter is also retired. He was the Superintendant for Albert Higley Construction. He enjoys radio control planes, and his dogs.
The couple live in Grafton. They are both members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. They have two children, Colleen Everhart of Elyria and Carl Keith of Grafton; and four grandchildren, Brianna, Keith, Karla and Kristen.
A party was held in their honor on September 21, 2008 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with guests attending from as far as Florida and Missouri. Special memories were shared, the bride’s wedding dress was on display, and the couple was suprised with a replica of their original wedding cake!
