ELYRIA — Despite a sluggish economy that forced the owner of the All-Ohio Train, Toy, Bear and Doll Collectibles stores in Wellington and Carlisle Township to close up shop, Mark Fundak said he is taking another go at the business.

This time Fundak said he will reopen in Elyria in the Grafton Road store that started it all.

“I’m not saying the economy is better, but I told my accountant I wanted to try again,” he said. “Elyria is a better location because it gets more traffic.”

Fundak will reopen Nov. 1.

Store selection will continue to include Ginny dolls, Lionel train sets, collectible teddy bears and die-cast and slot cars.

Fundak opened his Wellington store in 1997 and the Carlisle Township location 10 years later. Both stores closed in June.

East Ave in Elyria turns into Grafton Road South of Fuller.

It runs south and east til it gets into Grafton.

  4. Bill Wallace says:

The location is one house past the intersection of Indian Hollow Rd and Grafton Rd.
Heading south it would be on the right hand side of Grafton Rd.
