Loretta B. Sederis (nee Boddy), 82, of Sheffield Village, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her home. She was born October 18, 1926 in Elyria, where she was a resident until moving to Vermilion in 1984 and Sheffield Village in 2002.

Loretta was a 1944 graduate of Elyria High School. She was employed at Fay Company in Elyria, Sheffield Shopping Center from 1945 to 1968, Ted Jacobs in Elyria and Lorain from 1970, until retiring in 1991.

In addition to her interests in clothing, she was a Cleveland Indians fan.

Loretta is survived by her daughters, Sandra L. (Mike) Moore and Shelley M. Sederis, both of Vermilion; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and sister, JoAnn (Al) Thorley of Elyria.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Sederis in 2001; parents, Joseph and Lillian Boddy; sisters, Dorothy Barbour and Charlain Snider; and brothers, Gordon and Donald Boddy.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Johnathan McCleery, Pastor of LaPorte United Methodist Church officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
