The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Phyllis K. Bradley (nee Leonard), 69, of Amherst, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her home. She was born October 2, 1939 in Lorain and had resided in Amherst since 2003, moving from Lorain.
Phyllis was a 1957 graduate of Lorain High School. She enjoyed playing scrabble, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, especially weekends at Terrace Lakes Campground in Sullivan.
She is survived by her devoted husband of over 51 years, Lou Bradley; son, Dan Bradley (Cindy Lane); daughter, Lesley Inderrieden (Rick); daughter-in-law, Sandra Bradley; grandchildren, Addison Bradley, Joe Rodriguez, James Inderrieden and Paul Inderrieden; great-grandson, Alex Rodriguez; and brother, Dave Leonard (Liz).
She was preceded in death by her son, Kurt A. Bradley on August 20, 2006; and parents, Ellwood and Frances Leonard (nee Wiggins).
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 3 P.M. until the time of funeral services at 5:30 P.M. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Bob Daugherty will officiate. Cremation will follow.
