The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Arnold L. Hall, 61, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at his daughter’s home in Elyria, following a short illness. He was born in Crossville, Tennessee and was a resident of North Ridgeville since 1966.
Mr. Hall worked as a machine operator for Duffin Manufacturing in Elyria for 20 years, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed listening to blue grass and country music, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Ronda McCann (James) of Elyria, Angel Hall of North Ridgeville and Kimberly Spangler (Eric) of Elyria; son, Snapper (Tammy) of Elyria; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandson; mother, Hazel Hale of Elyria; and ex-wife, Dolly Hall of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hoover Hall; and step-father, Paul Hornback.
Friends may call Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 9 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Jim Deulley, Pastor of Elyria Foursquare Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
