Parole Board rejects Wilson’s clemency bid

The Ohio Parole Board has recommended that Gov. Ted Strickland reject clemency for convicted killer Daniel Wilson.

Wilson, 39, is set to be executed June 3 for the 1991 murder of Carol Lutz, who he locked in the trunk of her car before puncturing the gas tank and setting the car on fire. Lutz was still alive at the time.

The clemency decision is ultimately up to Strickland.
