- A story Friday about Lorain possibly closing a fire station due to financial woes incorrectly indicated that the Elyria Fire Department has three open stations despite the layoff of 10 firefighters. Generally, only two stations are open - station No. 1 on Cedar Street and station No. 3 on Lorain Road.
- A story Friday about Chrysler`s bankruptcy filing that detailed its plans to shutter 789 dealerships nationwide failed to specify exactly which dealerships in Lorain County were on the list. They are Spitzer in Sheffield and Nick Abraham in Elyria. Another dealership mentioned in the story, Ed Tomko Chrysler Jeep in Avon Lake, was not on Chrysler`s list. Also, a picture accompanying that same story of the Spitzer dealership incorrectly suggested that it may be merging with another dealership. That merger took place several years ago.
- A man doing work on the Lorain County Justice Center on Thursday was repairing faulty brick work. A caption for a photograph Friday incorrectly described what the worker was doing.
