Sunday, June 7
12:16 a.m. - 5000 block W. Erie Ave., a woman reported her husband, from whom she’s separated, broke into her residence and stole her laptop.
8:33 p.m. - 1300 block E. Erie Ave., a woman reported a man bumped into her and grabbed her purse while she was walking near Kansas Avenue and Crehore Street.
11:25 p.m. - Homewood and Seneca avenues, Natalie Rivera, 18, Sheffield, charged with domestic violence.
Elyria police
Sunday, June 7
5:45 p.m. - 200 block Morgan Ave., Samantha Taylor, 41, Elyria, charged with two counts of telecommunications harassment for repeatedly calling and texting a man she’d had an affair with and his wife.
6:09 p.m. - 200 block Crestview Drive, theft of GPS unit from vehicle parked at Lowe’s on Midway Mall Boulevard.
7:59 p.m. - 1000 block Chestnut Commons, Wal-Mart, Susan Delany, 48, Elyria, charged with the theft $38.61 in merchandise.
11:50 p.m. - 1300 block West Ave., a woman reported kids were throwing eggs at cars driving down West Avenue when a blue or white vehicle slowed down, causing the kids to run. Someone inside the vehicle fired what the woman thought was a BB gun at the kids. One of the BBs broke a window on her car.
Monday, June 8
7:50 a.m. - 100 block Second St., Auto Zone, a store manager reported someone damaged the dashboard of a work van and stole the license plate off another van.
