Wednesday, June 24
5:10 p.m. — 4400 block Camden Ave., a 12-year-old Lorain girl and her father received summonses respectively for no driver’s license and permitting an unlicensed driver to drive when the daughter backed into a neighbor’s house while her father, Luis Montanez, was trying to teach her to drive.
Tuesday, June 30
11:04 a.m. — 1700 block Broadway, a woman reported a man at Kennedy Plaza exposed his genitalia and made “sexual invitations” to her while the two were patrolling the public housing complex as part of the Resident Awareness Program.
6:47 p.m. — 4600 block Charleston Ave., Jose Ocasio, 63, of Lorain, charged with public indecency for masturbating in his garage with the door open where neighbors could see him.
7:10 p.m. — 1200 block W. 13th St., a 10-year-old Lorain boy was issued a summons for criminal damaging and unruly child for throwing rocks at a neighbor’s house.
8:32 p.m. — 600 block W. 14th St., Timoteo Ocasio, 28, of Lorain, charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct for yelling obscenities in front of a crowd that included children and not stopping when asked by police.
9:23 p.m. — 4000 block Seneca Ave., Krizia Figueroa, 20, and Idalia Figueroa, 46, both of Lorain, were charged with domestic violence for assaulting a woman with whom they are living when the victim tried to remove a dog from the apartment because dogs aren’t allowed.
10:26 p.m. — 2100 block W. 21st St., a man reported someone stole two shotguns and $70 in cash from his home.
10:30 p.m. — 1300 block Shaffer Drive, Jamie Hamrick, 20, of Lorain, charged with using weapons while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon after police were called for a welfare check on Hamrick and found him drunk with a .25-caliber Beretta handgun in his pocket.
10:30 p.m. — 1400 block D St., a man reported the theft of more than $11,000 in jewelry and household items from his home.
11:38 p.m. — 900 block E. Erie Ave., Dora Giglio, 48, of Lorain, charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct persisting for shouting obscenities during an argument outside and not stopping when asked by police.
Wednesday, July 1
8:34 a.m. — 6300 block Orchard Hill, garage window broken.
12:59 p.m. — 2500 block Elyria Ave., red and white 1978 Chevrolet Caprice stolen.
3:24 p.m. — 400 W. Fourth St., John Dancison-Dauch charged with endangering children for leaving his 5-year-old daughter strapped in her child seat in his truck with the keys in the ignition while he was inside a nearby laundromat. Dancison-Dauch told police he’d only been inside for five minutes, according to a police report that also indicated the parking lot was 75 percent full with several people around which created a “substantial risk to the health and safety” of the child.
10:55 p.m. — 600 block Broadway, a man reported a juvenile male threw a rock at his head outside the Old Town Charleston Bar when the victim refused to give the boy a cigarette.
Thursday, July 2
1:35 a.m. — 1600 block Maryland Ave., David Thompson, 31, of Lorain, charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct persisting for shouting and yelling obscenities outside while drunk and refusing to stop when asked by police. Thompson told police he was celebrating because he’d just gotten out of jail, a police report stated.

9:48 a.m. — 600 block Lucille Drive, large phallus spray-painted on east side of home.
2:25 p.m. — 300 block Brace Ave., shed windows broken.
3:23 p.m. — 600 block Furnace St., someone attempted to break into a home through a downstairs window. Entry was not made.
6:14 p.m. — 300 block Eastern Heights Blvd., bicycle stolen from yard.

1:34 a.m. — 905 Lorain Blvd., Shell gas station, rock thrown through window.
6:26 a.m. — 800 block Hartford Drive, two tires stolen off vehicle.
8:01 a.m. — 100 block Finch Drive, white metallic paint sprayed on driver’s side of vehicle.
10:16 a.m. — 500 block Second St., PlayStation 2, video games, hats, iPod, clothes and CDs taken.
11:03 a.m. — Wren’s Nest Antique Store, breaking and entering, costume jewelry and silver and brass chains stolen.
1:14 p.m. — First block Kennedy Court, cuss words and two phalluses spray-painted on vehicle.
4:52 p.m. — Wal-Mart, Brandon Weese, 19, and Amanda Cluley, 18, both of 600 block Bell Ave., charged with theft of DVDs.
9:03 p.m. — 500 block West River Road N., three juveniles seen leaving a home that had been burglarized.
9:10 p.m. — 200 block Gates Ave., John Such III, 25, same address, charged with possession of crack cocaine and arrested on an abduction and domestic violence warrant.
Thursday, July 2
1:51 a.m. – 100 block Edgewood St., David Groomes, 32, same address, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

2:15 a.m. — Valero gas station, 2425 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Township, man in red hoodie seen breaking window and taking chewing tobacco.
Thursday, June 25
10 a.m. —1300 block East Ave., Elyria, burglary, Nintendo Wii stolen.
3:09 p.m. — Arch Abraham Suzuki, Amherst Township, Daniel Dindino, 46, homeless, charged with breaking and entering, theft of a motor vehicle, forgery and vandalism.

5:40 p.m. — 39400 block Chestnut Ridge Road, Carlisle Township, James Harris, 31, same address, charged with domestic violence.
